Principal Investigator

Jenny Bigman is a quantitative ecologist and an Assistant Professor in the School of Marine Science and Policy at the University of Delaware. Her group is based at the Hugh R. Sharp campus in Lewes, DE. Prior to joining UD, Jenny was a postdoctoral fellow and Fish Biologist at NOAA Fisheries. She combines macroecology and fisheries science to answer applied questions and advance ecological theory. Graduate Students

Jeannine Doyle joined the Fish Mac Lab at the University of Delaware in fall 2026 after earning her B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Management from Northern Michigan University. Her current research explores how age-specific distributions of commercially important fish species shift in response to changing environmental conditions along the U.S. East Coast.
