About us

The Fish Macroecology Research Group is part of the School of Marine Science and Policy at the University of Delaware. We examine how climate change is reshaping the ecology of fishes across biological and geographic scales. We integrate theory, statistical and computational modeling, and oceanographic data to understand patterns in life histories, population dynamics, geographic distributions, and other related processes. Our research often centers on commercially important fishes with the goal of informing fisheries management, but we are broadly interested in using data and models to answer questions across systems and taxa. By bridging theory and applied science, we aim to tackle pressing environmental challenges while advancing our understanding of marine ecosystems.
